Getting down to business
Here is a conference room in a local business. Interested in standing out from the crowd, the owners allowed me to put the line art from their logo into the finish. This is hard to see in the picture, but on the left side the line is extended to draw the eye toward their many awards and recognitions. Financial institutions just love lines!

how do you paint the walls like that? I really want to do something like that in my room, but I don't know how you do that. Can you help me out? (not the line, but the actual wall part)
Hi Katie,
The technique I used is called 'suede'. You can find the detailed instructions in most home improvement stores. It is realitively easy. I definately recommend a sample board to get the hang of it, then just keep trying until you get it how you want it. And don't give up - often faux finishes look funny when you start. You have to see it over a wide area before you know what it will look like. Good luck!
